When An Introvert Talks #1

I’m an introvert, are you?

I don’t like being in the middle of the crowd, noisy places, even department stores. When I was shopping with someone and they went to the shoes or clothes section, I couldn’t take the colorful things swimming in my eyes. Basically, I felt dizzy after stayed there for a long time and would straight searched for anything that I could sit on. Is it just me or anybody who also experiences it?

 

I’m not an anti-social because you know, it’s a different thing when we talk about introvert personality. I still like to talk to others, make new friends, go to events or parties. I just don’t like it when it comes to a crowded place. Even when I went by myself, I would walk fast-straight to the destination that I want, ignored people stares. 

I’m doing an internship right now, far away from my home. Living in a new environment got me like a week to adjust myself. Like how locals usually talk and how crowded the city is. But then, in my staying place which is in a narrow street in town, people always stared at me when I walk in the street. Seems like “who is dis girl and what she’s doin in our place?” or they might just felt amazed looking a pretty girl walkin. I tried to ignore it with a smile or just say hello to them, but still in another day with other people they did the same, staring at me. So I tried to minimize walking down the street just to avoid them. And then feel safe when I reached my room.

Well, isn't it how society works and everybody problems, right? Or not..
